PROFILE: BIRDS EYE VIEW
The role of library in the
higher education is very important. Each & every activity of the library
supports the studies of students & staff. 9816 valuable books are
available in our library, and E-resources 89.
We subscribe 45
periodicals, collection of back volume 199, which are beneficial to the
students and staff.

Special features
of library
1) BOOK BANK SCHEME
Two
types of book bank schemes are run in our library.
A) B. C. students are provided the academic books free of cost for the
entire academic year under B. C. Book Bank scheme which is run in
association with student’s welfare department of University of Mumbai.
B) College book bank scheme for general students
Students are provided textbooks under the B. B. For general students by
charging 20% amount of price of the books

Reading Room:
A separate reading room is
provided for the students & teachers. The atmosphere in the reading room
is very clam & quite. Seating capacity of the reading room is up to 25
students & 10 teachers. Reading room is kept opened for the students up to
5.00 p.m.

3) Periodical Section:
A separate section is made
to display different periodicals so it becomes convenient for the students
to select & read it. We contribute 45 journals & periodicals & we also
have bounded collection of back volumes especially of science, commerce &
Marathi etc.

The students are provided question
paper sets of University and College examination for last four years. So
that, students are aware with the pattern of University/ College

LIBRARY
RULES
-
Every student
entering the library must have valid college Identity Card. It must be
produced as and when demanded for inspection.
-
Silence must be
observed in the library
-
One book at a
time from the library will be issued to a student.
-
Book must be
returned on or before due date i. e
-
Delay in
returning books will make students liable to be fined.
-
Any attempt to
damage books or cutting out any matter or picture from the books or
defecting or tearing the pages will be treated as miss conduct
defaulters will be punished accordingly.
-
While receiving
the books the students must take note whether the books contain all the
pages or is in a good condition or not
-
If student fail
to return the book even after the final examination, Mark sheet of such
students shall not be issued to him/her till he/she return the books
along with fine or penalty.
-
Books are issued
to needy and meritorious students from the Book Bank for period of year.
-
All the books
issued to the students should be returned immediately after the annual
examination.
-
All students
must obtained clearness certificate from the library before taking mark
sheet and submit library card.

READING
ROOMS RULES
-
A complete
silence and strict discipline is to be maintained in the library and
study room
-
Reference books
and journals will be issued to the students against Identity Card.
-
Students should
not bring any outsider with them in the reading room & library.
